About BVM

The idea for The BVM Group came, as so many good things in life, serendipitously. Having recently left Telcordia Technologies in March, 2007, where Mike Henderson had been serving as President and Vin DiNapoli ran indirect channels, the two friends who had worked together for over twenty years decided to pursue their next opportunity as a team. Passing on a few prospects and missing a few others, it wasn’t long before companies began reaching out to the operating duo for assistance with a myriad of problems. With high level, global relationships that span decades, operating experience extending from start-ups to billion dollar multi-nationals, an eco-system of seventeen affiliates at the pinnacle of their respective fields, and a willingness to put, “skin in the game”, by assuming responsibility for the execution of its recommendations, The BVM Group clearly represents a resource unlike any other presently in the marketplace.

History of the Company

March 2007: Upon leaving Telcordia Technologies, the Managing Partners joined together in pursuit of new opportunities.

April 2007: The first of several companies approached the managing partners for assistance with a myriad of operation and organizational problems facing their companies.

May 2007: BVM is formed as a Delaware Corporation and signs its first multi-million dollar retainer.

June-December, 2007. BVM is awarded projects by four more software companies in the high technology, communications, utility and services industries.

June – December, 2007: BVM continues the expansion of its practice with the assistance of seventeen highly talented affiliates in the fields of sales, channel management, marketing, product line management, communications, web site design and management, recruitment and corporate identity,(logo) development.

What BVM does

BVM was created by and for operating people, with a broad range of present day and far reaching software experience in the high technology, communications, utilities and service industries.  Its capabilities extend to both domestic and international markets and encompass all manner of business process re-engineering initiatives including  Go-to-Market* assessment, strategy development, and strategy execution.

On the execution side, BVM is not adverse to assuming responsibility, in those cases where the customer desires and the situation warrants, the execution of its recommendations. By putting, "skin in the game", and  taking a percentage of the revenues generated or monies saved, in lieu of its normal fees BVM has created a unique  and attractive model, and one that has been enormously well received by the clients we serve.
